TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your tourist visa in Thailand, you do not need a Thai guarantor. You will need the following: a signed copy of your passport's data page, a signed copy of your arrival stamp, a signed TM6 departure card, a completed TM7 form (available at immigration offices), a passport photo, and 1,900 baht for the extension fee. Additionally, some immigration offices may require you to have a TM30 form filed by your landlord or hotel.

No you don’t need a Thai guarantor. You’ll need this stuff.

Copy passport data page (signed)

Copy of entry stamp (signed)

Copy of TM6 departure card (signed)

Fill out form TM7 (available at the office)

Passport photo (most offices have facilities on site or nearby)

1,900 baht

Some offices may require you to have filed a TM30, which your landlord or hotel should have done.
