Hi. I'm gonna extend my OA visa this week by first time. I got this form in immigration division 1. Is it required to have a guarantor to be able to extend? I don't understand very good what is this form for.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the user's upcoming OA visa extension and their confusion regarding a form obtained from immigration. Commenters clarify that they believe the form is a TM7, which doesn't require a guarantor. They mention necessities for extending a Non-OA visa, such as having funds in a Thai bank and annual insurance. There are also discussions about differences in forms based on location and advice on completing the form.

When I first went to extend my visa for the first time, I found the immigration document to be a little unclear so I did a Google search and I actually found examples of the form already filled in. Now I just keep a copy of last year's form and use it as my guide. That said, you may want to try a search if you're having problems.

Should be Form TM7

This is from Bangkok, right? Looks totally different from the TM7 which is normally the form for the retirement extension.

"...I have guaranteed...", "...made an oath..."? I've extended O and O/A many times already, but I have no idea what this form is for, never seen it before...

I believe that is a TM7 to apply for your extension. If you are completing the form yourself, just fill in the info and sign; no need for a guarantor.

You need money in a Thai bank and annual insurance to extend a Non-OA visa
