TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the challenges faced while trying to extend a 30-day tourist visa at Jomtien Immigration in Thailand due to a missing document (the owner's ID card and blue book). The poster has gathered most of the required paperwork but needs to return to immigration with the missing items. Community comments emphasize the importance of having all documents prepared and acknowledge the difficulties both immigrants and immigration staff experience during the process.

I understand also the pressure from the people who is working in immigration, dealing with all the foreigners need to extend visa. Both parties are under pressure... Under heat and worrying. But with the right explanation and right answers everything will be solved.

We have 7.2.3 paper

Immigration needs to understand that not every house owner lives in Thailand and can be reached for whatever documents they require.

So we talked to the office of my condo and they never had this issue before. And they don't even know the owner.

But they called an immigration officer and said all good with the papers. And I should call her when we arrive at the immigration. Very helpful. But just the guy at the reception at the immigration. We tried to ask a question and told us go away and don't ask why why why why. But we asked because we didn't understand much because we have a paper letter from the office whish is required. Anyways hope all will be OK. My friend from the u. K got extended without it. So that's why we asked. So hopefully later this afternoon will have it. Will keep you posted here...

And foreigners need to understand there are rules, regulations and laws in Thailand.

Sorry, but it seems in what ever topic it is, it is always the same persons to complain about Thailand and Immigration as somehow they can not follow up with any rule.

Please stop this excuse making bu....it and use this page for Thai visa advice or go play somewhere else.

well, aren't you the lucky one then, of all the properties I have rented, I have never had a copy of the landlord's ID card or blue book.

when I signed my lease it came with a copy of the house book in the owners name and a copy of their thai i/d. That's pretty standard (at least when thaiz rent to thaiz) to have attached to a lease..

You have the list, only 8 items to check before you leave the house.

Good luck tomorrow.
