Hello friends,

I have a question regarding the proof of funds for the Soft Power visa.

How did you provide proof of your bank balance? I have kept around USD 15,000 in my account for the past two months.

Is it okay to apply now?

I've heard that some people got approved in one month, while others say you need to show a balance for three months.

Does anyone have detailed information on this?

yes, it matters. The embassies/consulates have their own local requierments... All visa applications for Thailand are done online, but you have to be in the jurisdiction of the consulate where you apply, i.e. you should be in south Vietnam to apply through HCMC. The jurisdiction for HCMC is: Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang City, Can Tho City, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Long An, Tien Giang, Vinh Long, Hau Giang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau, Ben Tre, Tra Vinh and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

Depends on the consulate policy you apply at. Some want to see for 3 or 6 months, others just want to see a recent balance. Use the group search tool or read through posts of approvals and any related details
