TLDR : Answer Summary
The OP inquires about the requirements to obtain a Non-O single entry retirement visa in Thailand, mentioning documents such as a copy of the passport, photos, proof of funds (200,000 THB), and age eligibility (50+ years). They also question if a document from a local bank suffices for the application, compared to a recently updated bank book. The comments raise points on variations in embassy requirements and the availability of the visa during COVID-19 restrictions.

I believe the OP got the answers needed, so I'm closing comments. To recap:

1. Different consulates may have different requirements based on a person's nationality, so ask your local consulate for the specific requirements.

2. The nationality in question is Dutch, and wants to use the consulate in Cambodia. AS OF RIGHT NOW, the single entry Non-O visa based on "retirement" is not being sold in Cambodia, and all borders to enter Thailand are closed, making the question moot.

3. in the pre-COVID-19 days, to get a Non-O "retirement" visa from the Thai consulate in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, it requires 200K THB OR EQUIVALENT convertible currency. However, the point is moot because the visa is not being sold.

MY ADVICE:

Continue watching this group for the latest information about when the borders will open, and the requirements to enter Thailand.

Good luck.
