Got to the Chiang Mai Airport immigration office at 8am. Information checked papers and gave us numbers to wait. Numbers 4 and 5 in line. Counters opened at 8:30am. We were done at 9:20am. Received a 15 day under consideration stamp for a 60 day Covid extension that will start today. This was on a 60 day tourist visa. Wife got the same. They specifically asked if we wanted the 60 day covid and explained we would lose the remaining days of our tourist visas. We go back to close on February 10th. A pleasant experience except for the person that couldn't stop coughing that we distanced from as much as possible. ๐๐
