Andy Jones Must, nonsense. You can use THIM or TDAC. There's no way an app will be mandated or all hell will break loose. I can assure you of that.

yes, I can't imagine the authorities forcing everyone to use an app. It will greatly backfire on day 1 if they tried. So almost certainly, TDAC will continue in tandem with THIM.

Note, you said "mandatory", as in "required", as in the official TDAC site would no longer be relevant, needed, or even that it might disappear.
Google, especially their AI, is not always totally accurate.

You are mandated to submit the TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card), but how you file it depends on your travel date.Before August 2026: You can file it using the standard web portal or the new THIM mobile app.
Starting August 2026: The THIM (Thailand Immigration Management) app will become the mandatory platform for all arriving foreign nationals to submit their TDAC.
