Anymore horror stories recently from HKT and denial on entry
I think it was just one person so far who said they were turned away because they said they were working whilst on soft power, right?
Answer summary
Recent discussions among expats regarding horror stories of denial at HKT indicate a few cases where travelers faced issues at immigration. One such instance involved a traveler who allegedly stated they were working while on a soft power visa, leading to deportation. Another individual faced questioning about their frequent visits to Thailand and their ability to take courses. While some stories are shared anonymously due to fear of repercussions, there is a general consensus that having appropriate documentation is crucial for smooth entry into Thailand.

Case is simple. If your papers are ok then you receive warm welcome otherwise you get deserved problems.
6 months course valid your visa for 6 months even you have validation for 5 years. I heard a lot of stories when farangs were denied to entry because they bought 6 months muay thai or cooking class or dental treatment. Just get your papers correct then you will not have problems with entry or expansion
Not all DTV holders are members of this group and also not everyone is reporting each time they enter the country or when having a good or a bad experience with the Thai Immigration
Whilst stating the obvious, you neglected to mention human nature. Stamping into any country is hardly an experience anyone would write an essay about. There will always be more negative than positive or indifferent reports. Strangely, the negative ones are anonymous and full of discrepancies.
It might have been only one or two stories here, however, in general terms I've read more, both for Chiang Mai and Phuket. All or almost all anonymous, tho.
No someone asked a DTV to provide a ticket out of thailandd and they couldnt do so, they also said they were working when on muay thai soft power (even though its allowed) but led to them being deported
