What are the quarantine rules for travelers with COVID recovery certificates and for those who test positive upon arrival in Thailand?

I’ve recently recovered from covid, my girlfriend didn’t catch it.

Just checking whether I have the correct understanding:

Both negative on arrival - happy days

I’m positive she’s negative - I show recovery certificate and pending doctors approval, symptoms, level of covid etc there’s no quarantine for either of us

I’m negative she’s positive - she’s put in quarantine, I’m free to travel and can’t join her even if I want to?

Both positive - she’s put in quarantine, if I show recovery certificate I’m free but I could chose not to and we can stay together?

It’s the last two I’m less sure about

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster seeks clarification on quarantine protocols in Thailand for travelers who have recently recovered from COVID-19 and their partners' different test results upon arrival. They outline various scenarios: both testing negative, one testing positive while the other is negative, and both testing positive. Comments clarify that, in some cases, the individual with a negative test but in contact with a positive case may still face quarantine, and whether they can stay together depends on health protocols and individual circumstances.

This statement is false. You are considered high risk. Depending on the hotel/ hospital you have quarantine in a separate room. In Phuket you can use the pool and gym for the first 5 days with a daily Atk test. Day 6 to day 10 no test required but still only on the hotel grounds. You can join her but can’t leave the room for ten days.

Both positive - she’s put in quarantine, if I show recovery certificate I’m free but I could chose not to and we can stay together?

Partially correct. Depends on your Ct score if they change the positive to negative
