TLDR : Answer Summary
The CCSA meeting led by the PM confirmed that the Test & Go program remains in place, with the insurance requirement staying at $20,000. Quarantine for unvaccinated travelers may be shortened to 5 days, and pre-departure RT-PCR testing could be eliminated. The full reopening of Thailand is planned for the next 3-4 months, depending on circumstances. I have to do a trip from Bangkok to Cambodia 30th March to 2nd April. Will arrive in Bangkok April 2nd. How many days before arriving in Bangkok from Cambodia do I need to book and pay for the Test and Go package?
James ********
You will need the Thailand Pass. It usually takes up to 7 days to obtain and suggest you ask your Thailand Pass questions here...

We are fairly confident the 5 Day AQ will be approved by April 1st, which should be good for those who are unvaccinated.

So they decided ... nothing actually.

Eddie Jarvis This is the way it's always happened. The CSSA make the rule changes which don't become law until they get published in the Royal Gazette. It's not speculation or predictions, it's the process.

these meetings are always proposals. Nothing is official until published in the Royal Gazette and that's usually 1-2 days before it would take effect. So expect to see the final official rules March 30-31.

The AQ reduction is pretty much 100%.

We are already getting prices from hotels, so this is a step in a good direction.

But yes we were expecting something more significant like dropping the RT-PCR on arrival.

Yes they did say that because its not "official", but according to the past we are pretty confident this will happen.
