TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses concerns about the clarity and accuracy of information regarding TM30 obligations in Thailand, particularly critiquing the poorly written resources available. Participants note confusion surrounding who is responsible for reporting guest registrations: while landlords should register TM30 forms, many do not due to varied practices among different immigration offices. Overall, it emphasizes the need for expats to directly consult their local immigration office for accurate procedures.

The English on this is so poorly written thst it is confusing and not very useful to people trying to make sense of their TM30 obligations

A lot incorrect information in this video when it was released a while back. No one in reality registers a guest with immigration when they stay overnight and the email address given is invalid. Also yes if you are a long term resident or owner then you are the housemaster but legally when renting, the Landlord must register the TM30. Very confusing the whole.TM30 deal.

Nice information clip for Chonburi Immigration. Unfortunately not all Immigration offices play by the same rules. Best is to visit your own office and ask them how and when they want your housemaster to report.
