What are the experiences with renewing a Non-immigrant OA visa through a service provider in Thailand?

Good afternoon all. I am in the process of renewing my Non-immigrant OA visa for another year. I've recently talked to a few visa providers here who claim they can provide a one-year renewal in 3 days with no money transferred, at prices between B 20,000-30,000. My inclination is to do it myself at immigration (and I'm pretty clear what's required, thanks to this group), but wanted to ask if anyone has had any experiences with this type of service and can relate their experiences, and if so, can you recommend a provider who did a good job for you, in case I choose to go this route.

Many thanks!

LOOK at your entry stamp and make sure you weren't stamped in until JAN 11, 2020.

IF your visa had an "enter before" OR "valid until" date of January 23 2019 AND you entered the country on Jan 12th you should have been stamped in until JANUARY 11th 2020.

One obtains a second year on a non imm o-a multi entry visa (that was originally obtained via a Thai Embassy or a Consulate in one’s home country) by leaving Thailand and returning before the enter prior to date stamped on the visa, with no additional funds requirements. After that second year, one applies for an extension of stay based on retirement via one’s local immigration office, and must meet the income/money in the bank requirements. I suspect that you are not really talking about a non imm o-a visa.

When does your passport expire? If it’s June 2019 that would be why you only got that date stamp.

Unfortunately that visa has since expired. Im not sure why they only gave you 6 months but you have an admitted to stay stamp until June 11. This is not multiple entry. If you want to leave and re-enter you would need to get a re-entry permit from immigration. 1000 single entry or 3800 for multiple entry. On re-entering Thailand they will re-stamp your passport for 11th June.

the enter before date/enter prior to date stamped on the original visa is the key date to determine your options. I suspect that date may have already passed.

Thank you Al, yes, this is a Non-immigrant O-A multiple entry visa obtained from the Thai consulate in the US. When I returned from a trip to Vietnam on Jan. 12, my passport was stamped until June 11 for reasons I cannot quite figure out. And given that, is it possible for me to travel outside Thailand between now and June, and would still have validity to stay until June 11 rather than a standard 30-day stay?
