TLDR : Answer Summary
The post refers to an Egyptian individual reflecting on their visa application experience in Vietnam, specifically mentioning the approval stamp without much scrutiny. Throughout the comments, users discuss various related topics, including soft power, travel plans to Cambodia or Vietnam, experiences with the DTV visa, and tips on what to do after receiving it, such as printing the visa email for proof at check-in and ensuring the correct stamp upon arrival in Thailand.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days
i used tge screen shot in Vietnam to show airlines she gave boarding without any complain
In Thailand i open my phone i put in front him on his desk he take a small look i think he didn't see will he just know it's dtv so he see it on his system iam not sure about that but really he didn't took a second to see what in my phone
it's BEST to print out the DTV visa. Many Thai Embassies and Consulates state that on their website. And when you check-in for your flights ✈️ to Thailand, airline staff may want to see the DTV visa, even pass it along to their Supervisors to get approval for the boarding pass to be issued as its New Thai Visa. Again on arrival into connecting airline staff may want to see the Thai Visa. And on arrival into Thailand, it's helpful to give the Thai Immigration Officers a copy of the DTV visa along with your passport.
Glad you were successful in getting into Thailand. Enjoy your next 5 years with the DTV visa.
