Can anyone recommend a good test and go package hotel in Bangkok near busy area that has balcony.

Also can you book two people into one room if you are just friends on same flight. Or is it best to book separate rooms . Worried about if both would get PCR test and how this would work filling out Thailand pass etc. If anyone done or doing same would be a great help.

Also is it best to book through agent or direct.

Cheers Ross.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around selecting a good Test and Go package hotel in Bangkok, with a preference for locations that include balconies and are situated in busy areas like Sukhumvit Soi 4. Participants clarify that friends traveling together can share a room, provided the hotel is informed and issues a booking confirmation with both names. Concerns regarding the PCR testing process and the Taiwan Pass registration are addressed, with many suggesting hotel arrangements to streamline the process. Recommendations for specific hotels, such as Lohas Residences, are also shared.

Our hotel sent form to agree for both to share room. No problem. Double room was a little bit cheaper

hi i’ve just been through it. yes u can book a room for 2 with no issue at all…as per the test n go it’s better if u ask the hotel to arrange, less hassle they will take care of it end to end

@Ross *******
As above you want to be near Sukhumvit 4.

Just remember there is not much savings in sharing a room as the bulk of the costs are the medical tests.

You need check with hotel first.
Berto ******
Just friends, are you sure 🤣 ?

Only messing pal.

But I can't see a problem with it, just send an email to the hotel and ask them.

Complete the PCR TEST at your hotel...no waiting time therefore at the airport.

The hotel is the one you need to ask the rooming together question to. Each person will have their own Thailand Pass and will need to show a booking with their name on it. So if your hotel allows you to stay together and will issue you a booking with both names on it, then you're good to go.
