What are my options for airport transfer to my hotel in Phuket if my hotel hasn't responded?
Hey everyone, so ive got everything in order for my Phuket Sandbox except for the airport transfer....the hotel hasnt replied to my emails (3 so far) even though im booked to stay with them...is there another company I can book an airport transfer with? I need it for the thai pass
Answer summary
The user is seeking alternatives for airport transfer to their hotel in Phuket due to a lack of response from the hotel regarding pre-booked transport. Comments from the community suggest that booking a taxi on arrival is a viable option, as Phuket Airport taxis are SHA+ certified and allowed for Sandbox transfers. It is also recommended to contact the hotel directly for confirmation and to consider services like Phuket Shuttle for reliable transport.

I got to Phuket 2 days ago without a booking a transfer. Just grabbed a taxi from the airport to the hotel, no problem.

My airline checked that I had transport (SIA). But what people say there is taxi queue but be prepared to wait. My booked one took 30 minutes as well.
What hotel you booked?
What hotel you booked?

that's interesting, I flew 3 weeks ago from Sydney with them and had no worries with no pre-booked transport.The person at the testing exit just took me to the taxi desk when I told them I hadn't organised a transfer.

Test&go November. They put me in a normal taxi, 100%not certified, 800 baht. Rang the wife on route to the hotel thinking this isn’t right, the taxi driver offered to take me to my home to have dinner with my wife and she can drive me to the hotel afterwards, which I declined. Gotta love Thailand, I would say there more stricter now

Taxis from Phuket Airport are all SHA+ certified. So they are allowed for test and go and sandbox transfers. Unlike Bangkok.

@Steve ******
yes I did. But some people saying I must have the confirmation from the hotel to upload to Thailandpass!Uploading the Agoda confirmation is quite difficult because it Is very long and I can't take a screenshot of the complete document on my phone.

@Steve ******

@Steve ******
, I payed for the Sha+ on Agoda, and got a booking confirmation from Agoda. Do I have to wait for confirmation from the hotel directly or do I just take a screenshot of the Agoda confirmation and upload it to Thailandpass?Оливер *********
Thanks. And upload the Agoda payment confirmation to Thailandpass?

@Оливер ********
yes Agoda works also. Just don't use Booking.com

Call them directly, and then make sure that they send you a confirmation email while you’re on the line with them.

I didn't book any hotel transfer when I went to Phuket last month under test and go.
I just got a taxi from the taxi counter at the testing exit.
Is the Sandbox application specifically asking for a pre-booked hotel transfer?
