Anyone had done covid visa extension for the first time recently in Phuket Town immigration? Apparently in Changwattana the FIRST time you do Covid Visa Extension it starts from the day you apply and not when your current visa expires. I know every immigration has different rules and wondering how is it in Phuket Town immigration? Thank you guys!:)

Hi, I had a similar experience to
@Ruby *****
. Went last week and got told to come back 14th December (date of current stamp expiry) for 60 days from that date. Praying it all goes through fine when we return.

From Phuket, when changing reason for extension, it's day of application.

starts on the day of application? Okay thanks. Is it for first time covid extension or everytime? Maybe better doing it on the last possible day then.

when you change the reason for extension e.g. Visa exempt to extension of visa exempt then on to covid extension. OR TV 60 day then extension of TV (30 day) then covid extension. When you transition from TV or ve to covex it's dated from day of application. Covid to covid (or any other extension for same reason) is added on to the expyry of the initial extension. Sorry if that sounds confusing.

As far as my knowledge goes. 1st C-extension stamped from day of application. 2nd and onwards from expiry date of current stamp. This been observed allover the country over the past year.

Is that for Phuket?

I'm letting this post on. It might be better to ask in a Phuket related group, but maybe there's someone who can answer your questions. Maybe Phuket Immigration or their volunteers would know the answer
