Extension based on marriage at Nakhon Phanom. Applied on Friday with 400k seasoned 2 months prior, asked how long need to keep in (translated via wife), told new rule this year need to keep 400k in 3 months after final stamp, so 4 months from application!! I read last week on here, somebody had the same response. Does anyone on here have the official written ruling or have similar responses, so I can challenge the IO? Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A post discussing the experiences and challenges faced during a marriage visa extension application in Nakhon Phanom, Thailand. The user mentioned being informed of a new rule requiring 400,000 Baht to be kept in the bank for three months after the final stamp. Comments challenge the validity of this information and question the user's communication with the immigration office.

And the reason you didn't mention it to them while you were AT the immigration office last Friday was what exactly?

I challenged them on Friday, but as you know translated via a 3rd party and them not losing face, they were having none of it. So hence wanting written ruling. Sometimes you have to bite your bottom lip when dealing with them and they only want to talk Thai and dismiss what you say...

Totally FAKE, and you're just being told that. SOME offices want you to keep the money in the bank during the 30 day under consideration stamp time until you go back and get the year inked in But there is no new rule.
