After a change of plans I am considering applying for the visa detailed below. I have a stable income from pensions and rental but the requirements mention nothing about the sums of money involved. Can someone shed some light on this for me please? I am currently on non o based on being over 50.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers on the Thai 10-Year LTR Visa for Wealthy Pensioners. It requires a passive income of $80,000 per year, without the need for a bank deposit of 3 million baht. Key resources include the official BOI LTR site and related documentation.

Here’s the official LTR site. You need to get your enforcement letter prior to applying for the Visa.

You do not need to deposit 3 million in a Thai bank. All you need is to show income of $US80,000 per year.

If you qualify, it is by far the best visa going.

If this is the 10 year wealthy pensioner LTR then the visa fee is 50,000 baht for 10 years. You need a passive income (like a pension) of $80,000/year.

Google BOI LTR to go to the BOI website for more details
