What are the current processing times for DTV applications submitted online in Vietnam?
Hello everyone! I submitted my DTV application online in Ho Chi Minh City on November 2nd. The status changed to "Document Check" on November 4th, then to "Pending Approval" on November 5th. Since then, there have been no updates.
Has anyone else who applied online around November 2nd received any updates or approvals? Just trying to gauge the current processing times.
Looking forward to hearing about your experiences!

Answer summary
Several users have shared their experiences regarding DTV applications submitted online in Ho Chi Minh City around early November. The original poster submitted their application on November 2, which showed a status change from 'Document Check' to 'Pending Approval' shortly thereafter, but no further updates followed. Other users reported similar experiences, with applications still pending approval. One user received their approval just six days after submission, suggesting varying processing times depending on the visa category (in this case, the digital nomad category). This highlights that processing times may differ, adding to the frustration for those awaiting updates.

Be careful! You shouldn't travel to Thailand until you have your actual DTV approval. There have been several cases where people were denied entry when they tried to enter Thailand while their DTV was still pending. Better to wait for approval first - I just got mine today after 6 days of waiting, so hopefully yours will come through soon too!Anonymous *************
OPJust got my approval right now! Timeline for reference:
Submitted Nov 2 → Document Check Nov 4 → Pending Approval Nov 5 → Approved Nov 8.
Good luck to everyone still waiting!

I also applied on November 3rd and it's still pending approval in Hanoi. It's really bothering me as well.

Thanks for sharing! Interesting to see the difference in timing - mine went to "Document Check" within 2 days and then "Pending Approval" the next day. Hopefully you'll see movement on your application soon.Activity
