TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thai Red Cross has announced new blood donor criteria, welcoming donors from the UK, France, and Ireland who were previously restricted due to vCJD (mad cow disease). This can now be done at specific locations: the National Blood Centre in Bangkok and the Chiang Mai Red Cross. Other donors can give blood at any Red Cross branch. Key criteria include being under 60 years old for first-time donors, no alcohol 24 hours before, eating a healthy meal three hours prior, and staying hydrated. A comment asks if donations can be made at a hospital in Koh Yao Noi.
