Donor Eligibility Update: Donors from the United Kingdom are Welcomed Back at the National Blood Centre in Bangkok and Chiang Mai Red Cross.

Please donate! All Blood Types needed, but.... Rh-Negative is extremely Rare in the Thai population. Over 20% of UK donors are Rh-Negative.

Rh-Negative is extremely Rare in Thai Population. Eligible Westerners, please donate. Most people do not know their blood. Whatever your blood type may be, someone will use it.

โœ… Under 60 if first-time donor in Thailand. 70 is upper age

โœ… No alcohol 24 hours prior

โœ… Healthy low-fat meal at least three hours prior

โœ… Drink Plenty of water ๐Ÿ’ง

โœ… Donors from the United Kingdom ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง, France ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท and Ireland ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช who lived in the vCJD "mad cow disease" impacted regions from 1980-1996 are Welcomed Back at the Main Chiang Mai Red Cross blood bank and the National Blood Centre on Henri Dunant Rd ONLY. Special processing for blood.
