TLDR : Answer Summary
There is an urgent call for blood donations in Thailand, particularly for Rh-Negative blood types, which are extremely rare in the Thai population but more common among Western expats. A college student in Bangkok is in critical need after an emergency C-section. All blood types are needed for transfusions and surgeries. Donors, especially Rh-Negative individuals, are encouraged to donate at various Thai Red Cross Blood Banks across Thailand. Specific eligibility criteria must be met, including being under 60 for first-time donors and no alcohol consumption prior to donating. The process involves a quick health check and the actual donation takes less than ten minutes.
