TLDR : Answer Summary
Recent changes have lifted the restrictions on blood donations from donors from the United Kingdom, France, and Ireland at the National Blood Centre in Bangkok, Thailand, due to the removal of vCJD (mad cow disease) deferrals. All donors from different regions are encouraged to participate, and specific eligibility criteria are in place based on age and previous donations. Donors should abstain from alcohol 24 hours prior, eat a healthy meal before donating, and note the operational hours of the National Blood Centre for donations.
