Greetings aliens. I’m currently on an O visa that expires oct 1. I’m going to the US end of May to sell some property. I know I have to get a re entry permit and fill in exit and return dates. What if I have to extend my stay in the US in order to finish up business etc.? Is there a penalty if I return later than the date on my re entry permit?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the implications of potentially returning to Thailand later than the date specified on their re-entry permit, due to a trip to the US. According to a community member's comment, there is no penalty for returning after the re-entry permit date; however, it is crucial to return before the expiration of the O visa.
