What are the consequenses if you are refused entry and have to return to your country and they write the reason as stated above.

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are refused entry into Thailand due to not having the required proof of funds (฿20,000 or equivalent) or if authorities suspect you are working illegally, you will not be blacklisted or deported but will need to return to your home country. However, you may reattempt entry at another border if you present the necessary documents including proof of funds, onward travel, and accommodation booking.

These are the reasons you can be denied entry.

You are not black listed, you are not deported, you were denied entry. You can enter at another port of entry BUT as people suggested make sure you have proof of funds, proof of onward travel and proof of a hotel booking.

#2 is for not having the proof of funds ฿20,000 or equivalent in other currency.

#3 is the one where they think you are working in Thailand illegally.

You can try a land border, with the proof of funds and the other proof ofs (onward travel and hotel).

You're not "black listed" if that is what you are worried about.
