Hi everyone, I'm in Laos Vientiane, waiting for interview in 2 days. Did ever happen to someone to get rejected after the interview? Thank you 😊

Answer summary

A user is preparing for a visa interview in Vientiane, Laos, and inquires about the likelihood of rejection post-interview. Responses indicate that rejections can happen, often related to insufficient proof of financial stability. Suggestions include presenting bank statements and explaining one's financial situation, particularly if there are unique circumstances that differ from standard requirements.

I don't have online banking, it's not working in Asia. I can show bank statement for April also (I applied with statement from Jan-Mar. Also I have SMS messages, whenever I pay something I'm receiving message with total amount.. Hope this won't be a problem 🫥

PurpleKale6496 hmmmmm 🤔 there noted for asking you to show PROOF of your current bank account balance during the interview. Just politely explain your situation and show PROOF with your Bank account statements.

it was a mistake on my part, the group posted many times what information they include. I used an agent and for my situation they asked for the cookie cutter website requirements which doesn’t really explain my situation

I retired at 35, I’m 40 now and pulled money from my social security account and parked it. So based off the interview questions I can only assume they think i don’t have income and it’s a red flag, incompetence on my part for not explaining better.

Most have no issues with Laos, you should be fine. Good luck.
