Is it cheaper to apply for a Muay Thai visa instead of a language visa while staying in Thailand temporarily?

Hello everyone,

Just finished a border run and was going to apply for 6 months ED visa, but I only plan to stay until the end of July. So with process time I was considering the 3 month but it is quite expensive.

Would it be cheaper if I do Muay Thai instead of learning the language?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is considering applying for a 3-month ED visa after a border run but is wary of costs since they only intend to stay until the end of July. They are weighing the option of pursuing Muay Thai training instead of language learning to potentially save on visa expenses. Comments suggest verifying school charges for activities, mention a lack of active Muay Thai visa options currently, and recommend possibly extending a 60-day tourist visa instead.

So maybe ride out my 60 days then go to Vientiane to get 60 day tourists and can extend after that

From my understanding the musythai visa is not active just yet

A school is a school. You need to ask the schools what they charge. No one here can tell you if one school is cheaper than another.
