The discussion outlines various visa options suitable for individuals under 40 looking to stay in Thailand. Key recommendations include the LTR Visa for qualified applicants, the Thailand Elite Visa for those with financial means, and the ED Visa as an alternative for students. Additionally, obtaining a Non-B visa through employment is suggested. For a short-term stay, a tourist visa can be appropriate. One comment also mentions the potential benefits of an investment visa through the BOI, while others humorously suggest unconventional options like marriage. The community emphasizes the importance of defining one's specific needs when considering visa types.

hello, I did in Chiang Mai. But it probably exist in Bangkok too. 90 days report it's automatic with this or you can do it online. You will need to come back 2 times at university. 1-Subscription for Non-Ed Visa 3 months, 2-then after 3 months sub to 12mo ED Visa. If you want exit Thailand you need to pay. Also I remember it exist 2 options apply from inside or outside

Depends what you are planning. If you're coming on holiday just get a tourist visa but if you're planning an extended stay explain what you are trying to achieve
Hello Stuart, Im actively looking for a career in 🇹🇭, so that I can get a non B and work permit. My background is in Graphic Design and Luxury Retail. Do you think I have any chance ?
Perhaps you mean, can I keep coming in and out on tourist visas (which with the extension each get you a 90 day stay)?
If so, then I'm afraid thats no longer the easy way to stay here it once was.
First of all, more and more (probably most, at this point) Thai consulates will no longer issue you a second tourist visa if you've just had one.
Secondly, immigration officers at the airports and land border checkpoints are becoming more strict about people using short-term tourist stays as a means to basically live here.
These days, at some point after being here anywhere between 6-12 months (maybe longer or shorter depending on which immigration officer you end up in front of), on your way back in, immigration officers are likely to pull you aside and question you on what you're doing here for such a long time on tourist visas. At some point, you risk being denied entry.
