I am looking for some advice on VISA runs. I currently have a non immigrant ED visa that expires next month. I need to visit a Thai embassy and get a non immigrant B visa. I am living in Chiang Mai. Does anyone know of a local company I can go though? Any advice would be much appreciated. I am not sure where to start. Thanks!

The user is seeking advice on visa runs in Chiang Mai to obtain a Non-Immigrant B visa before their current ED visa expires. Various suggestions are provided, including using local companies like Chiang Mai Ambassador, which offers a budget-friendly service with document requirements. Alternatives such as taking a bus to Nong Khai and crossing into Vientiane to visit the Thai embassy are also mentioned, though users warn about the comfort of mini-vans used for these trips.

The travel agents that do the visa runs from Chiang Mai use mini vans.not very comfortable to be stuck in them for 10 hours over night
