Where is the best place to find accommodationin Bangkok in one of the nice condo units I see advertised in the modern units close to airport transport?

I have a shoulder injury and can’t carry luggage far.

I will stay about a week for hospital consultations, then go to the islands for a few weeks

TLDR : Answer Summary
Finding accommodation in Bangkok that is close to both airport transport and hospitals is feasible, especially for medical tourists. It's recommended to prioritize rental options near your hospital, as that would be most convenient given your shoulder injury. While many condo owners prefer long-term rentals (6 months or more), there are alternatives like Airbnb; however, be cautious about licensing issues. Booking.com can also be a useful resource. Additionally, some hospitals offer rental apartments on a daily or weekly basis. Alternatively, for a quick stay of a week, hotels like Novotel at the airport could be suitable.

Just stay at Novatell at the airport if only a week

Many hospitals have apartments nearby you can rent on daily, weekly monthly basis . Airport shouldnt be a factor hospital should. Search on google maps near your hospital

Next to your hospital would be a good idea

There are multiple places to stay near hospitals for medical tourists. Condo owners usually don’t let you rent for less than 6 months. Airbnb is available but the owners usually don’t have a license and you might have to leave if sh1t hits the fan 🤣
