Hello. I am looking for advice on getting a 1 year or more visa in Bangkok. I was planning on doing a 3rd year of Thai language for this year but I just moved to Bangkok from Pattaya and cannot continue Thai language because the schools here are different. I have looked into Muay Thai and there are only 2 schools I can find that offer visas. But they are very expensive.

Are there any options for 1-3 years in Bangkok until I can start the retirement visa? Thanks in advance for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on obtaining a visa for 1-3 years in Bangkok, having moved from Pattaya and unable to continue Thai language studies due to school differences. They mention expensive Muay Thai schools that provide visas and inquire about alternative long-term options until eligible for a retirement visa. Comments suggest contacting visa centers, the possibility of short-term extensions, and exploring education visas linked to free coding schools.

Are you interested in a free coding school? Study onsite at KMITL. Pass 1 month to get Ed visa for further studies.

You might find one that gives you 90 days which you would have to extend every 90 days at immigration. Immigration will ask your school for full attendance records and progress in learning. If a language school prepare to be interviewed in Thai at immigration or as some suggested months ago if Muay Thai prepare to give a demo against a decent fighter.

I didn't think you could do that anywhere now unless you are attending university
