Hello everyone,

I’ll be staying in Thailand for a while and I’m looking for suggestions on which mobile company SIM card and package would be best for my stay. I’ll mainly need good internet/data coverage and reasonable call rates.

If you’ve had personal experience with a reliable provider, I’d really appreciate your recommendations.

Thanks in advance for your help! 🙏

Commenters suggest AIS for nationwide coverage and True for fast internet speeds in urban areas. They also advise checking coverage in specific locations and purchasing packages directly from provider stores, mentioning a recent experience with a True package offering 70GB of data for ฿200 per month.

It can depend on location, in some areas true has better coverage, and in other areas, AIS has better coverage, it's best to buy a package, from the actual true or AIS shop, a few months ago I bought a true package, for ฿200 a month, for 70GB of data and it's 20mbps.

AIS has the best coverage, nationwide. True has the fastest speeds in cities.

They both have plenty of options for packages.
