Hi. I have a Zimbabwean passport and would like to a visa run for a non b. Malaysia says it takes up to 4 weeks to process the visa. Which other country can I go to that won't require such a waiting period?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Zimbabwean passport holder is looking for countries to perform a visa run for a Non-B visa, as they find the processing time in Malaysia to be 4 weeks. Comments suggest that the processing times vary by nationality and that it's essential to check the requirements of the Thai consulate in the chosen location.

and on that note we're done. Good luck to the O/P and their quest to get their Non-B visa (y)

READ the requirements of the thai consulate you're going to.

Hello! I’m just confused about this thread… he says Malaysia takes up to 4 weeks to process visa. I’m German passport holder and plan to go to Thai embassy in Penang for a new tourist vis at the end of this year. Normally it takes 2-3 days….

you won't have ANY issues applying for a tourist visa as a westerner in Penang..

It's just certain countries passports that require that 'extended processing" time.

report back on how the visa run to Penang goes for you if you would (y)

keep in mind you need to book an appointment to get in the gate of that consulate and apply

AND

that consulate has a 3 working day processing time (example; turn your passport in Monday morning get it back Wednesday afternoon, turn it in Thursday morning get it back the following Monday afternoon)

you book it at this link
