Hey guys, I’ve had my DTV for six months. I’m planning to re-enter Thailand for the second time on my DTV. Is there a particular airport you recommend over others? I heard phuket is not good for DTV entries.

I’m coming from another Asian country. do they ever ask for proof of the 300k baht in savings upon reentry?

Are investment account balances accepted or does that have to be sitting in a checking account?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on the best airports for re-entering Thailand on their DTV visa and whether they need to provide proof of savings upon re-entry. Comments suggest that airports like Krabi and Phuket have had no significant issues for DTV entries, with many users reporting that they were not asked to show proof of the required 500,000 THB in savings. It is generally recommended to have the visa printed out along with the TM.30 form, and to engage politely with the immigration officer if questions arise.

No problem in HKT. Print out your visa and TDAC and present them to the officer with your passport. No questions at all. Only stamp for next 180 days.

Have a valid and genuine passport, have the visa printed out, have the TDAC done.

and if asked just talk with the IO about things that matter.

as seen earlier, your private life, partners, previous visits, the purpose of being in other countries are non relevant but may be nice to talk about with a coffee at another place.

You will be fine with your DTV..I have never been asked in 7 arrivals to show the 500k THB in savings and don't expect to be asked when arriving next week.

You have a visa can't see an issue any airport, visa is what they currently want people to have and not visa exempt
