TLDR : Answer Summary
To qualify for a retirement visa in Thailand, you can either deposit 800,000 baht in a Thai bank account or show a monthly income of 65,000 baht. You do not need to meet both requirements. However, if opting for the monthly income, you need to provide documentation of 12 consecutive monthly deposits of at least 65,000 baht.

if you have full 12 months of 65k coming in from a foreign bank account then you can extend your visa for another year based on this income and there is no need to keep the deposit of 800k on the bank after that

and it would be 65‘000, monthly not 650‘000.
