Look the real answer is you do not need to supply an actual booking anywhere to get a Non-o visa, you just need to supply an address, any address somewhere in Thailand. I’m here now that’s all I’ve had to do admittedly I just put where I live when I’m here , no booking , wife’s house .

Just because you book a hotel doesn't mean you pay up front, you still get a confirmation number. Are they asking for confirmation or an address?
