TLDR : Answer Summary
A user on a tourist visa, expiring soon, is seeking advice on the nearest border to cross as they planned a trip to Kuala Lumpur but found it closed. Community members suggest Ranong, the border to Myanmar, as the closest option.

Ranong. Just came back. Do not worry about $10 bill you can exchange with boatmen at the border they also make photocopy for 5 bath it will all cost a tiny bit more but it will cost you less stress Good luck!
