Hi, I am currently holding a NON B extension (one year) and work permit but I am planning to quit job end of July. I want to stay in the kingdom, what are my options? Can I get an education visa (Thai language course) without leaving the country?

TIA.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual has a NON B extension and a work permit but plans to quit their job. They seek options to remain in Thailand, specifically inquiring about the possibility of obtaining an education visa for a Thai language course without leaving the country. It is advised that upon quitting, they must cancel the work permit and the extension of stay linked to their employment. Transitioning to an education visa depends on the school's ability to fulfill immigration requirements in a timely manner.

If you quit your job you have to cancel the work permit at the Ministry of Labor and your Extension of Stay based on employment at the Immigration Office.

If you are legit to apply for a new Extension of Stay based on another reason depends if in this case the school can provide all the requirements in time and on your initial visa. Check this with the school and Immigration.
