How can I provide proof of funds and an entry ticket for my Thai visa application given my unique banking situation?

Hi all,

Just need some advice if possible:

Can you help with the below and how to respond:

Other request documents: - Your recent (balance within last 30 days ) personal (cash flow / current account )UK/Ireland bank statement shows your name, your UK/Ireland address, and a minimum closing balance of 11,000 GBP (Screenshots are not accepted).

As I live in between two countries I can provide my overseas account with the relevant funds but not my uk account. I can transfer money from my overseas account back into my uk account to provide the amount required but will the embassy accept this on short notice? I have already provided my overseas account with GBP in there also but this wasn’t accepted as they’ve asked again.

Other request documents: - Please upload your E-Ticket of your Flight booking showing your name as passenger , departure date, all flights en route from UK/Ireland/UK territories to Thailand

Is there anyway I can buy a ticket without paying for it for a month or so as I’m not exactly sure when I’ll leave for Thailand.

Any help would be greatly appreciated to overcome these questions.

Thanks in advance.

If you pay for a ticket with a credit card isn't there a 14 day cooling off period where you can cancel the purchase?

Usually 1 day in the UK

With the London embassy I transferred the required funds from my investment account to bank account, waiting a day so I could generate a statement and then provided that.

No issue

They want your entry ticket so they can be sure you are still in the UK when your visa is approved

Anonymous participant you applied when in the UK so that’s where you’ll be getting your ticket from showing ALL connecting flights into Thailand.

Are both accounts personal accounts in your name? They won't accept business accounts.

Anonymous participant you can give them statements from both accounts and add a letter explaining you have two accounts and how the total amount adds up to the requirement

hey, thanks for the reply. I’ve already done this to no avail. I’m going to send some money back into my uk account and send the statement that way?

Anonymous participant yeah looks like it’s your only option 😏

Onwardsticket.com the ticket is only valid for 48 hours but as the embassy are not members of the travel industry they don't have access to flight passenger names
