Hello everyone, im very close to sending in my application and I wanted to double check the part on page 2 with:

”is your permanent address your current address -yes/no”.

I’m a Swe nationality but live permanently in Portugal, I’ve included both addresses but not sure which one should be on top and I don’t want mess up my application on something that small.

Has anyone here done it with a nationality but different country permanent address ? What did you put there?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to complete a section of their Thai visa application regarding permanent and current addresses, specifically when they have different addresses due to nationality (Swedish) and residence in Portugal. Community members advise that if the current address is considered permanent, it could be listed as such, with different placements for the addresses. They also note that applications can be sent to the Thai embassy in Lisbon, provided additional documentation is included.

If you consider your current address your permanent address, then use the same address. You say you live permanently in Portugal, so I'm assuming you are also applying there. I believe the top is current, and the lower is permanent, maybe others can confirm.

‘you suspect’ - so you don’t even know? You’re just on here guessing?

Have you even seen the application form? It just opens another space to add another address, without specifying which is which

thanks for that George, in a previous post the OP stated they considered Portugal their permanent home now. On that basis I used the words "I suspect," as the final decision belongs to the OP what they wish to consider permanent.

I am Brazilian and I live in Portugal, you can send your application to the Thai embassy in Lisbon, as long as you attach the Portuguese residence permit or Certificate of European Citizen issued by the Portuguese local authority.

Participante anônimo I applied on January 20th at the Lisbon embassy, It has already passed the document validation stage and is pending approval. I think the process should be completed by Wednesday. The maximum period stipulated by the embassy itself is 7 working days.

Participante anônimo You can apply at the embassy of the country you want. However, if any of your documents are in Portuguese, you will have to translate them into English using the paid services of a translator registered in Indonesia or go to the Portuguese embassy to do this. The problem with applying outside your country of residence is document translations and authentication.
