Good morning, I posted on the 23rd January. I was suspended on the web for Vientiane consulate when I was trying to make an appointment. I have not tried again and have not received an ok from the consulate. I want to make an appointment for 60 day tourist visa. Do you think I should go ahead and try again , try to contact them I am needing the appointment on the 18th of February. Thankyou

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster has been suspended from making an appointment at the Vientiane consulate for 30 days due to not showing up for a previous appointment. Users suggest that they contact the consulate to resolve their account issues or try applying at another consulate if they need an appointment by February 18th. It's noted that obtaining a back-to-back tourist visa might be challenging due to their prior visa history.

And as this is the second time, we can only keep on giving the same advice until OP starts realizing he has to do something else.

Contact the Thai Consulate in Vientiane to solve your password problems or visit another consulate to apply for a new Tourist Visa.

Be aware your history of living inside Thailand may be an item when you apply for a visa or try to enter Thailand. Good luck

Sometimes it helps to read information on a website:

You get 30 days suspension for not showing up on a scheduled appointment

You get 10 days suspension if you cancel within 24 hours of appointment.

You claimed you lost your password on 23 Jan and the advice was to contact the Consulate or visit another consulate.

It seems by this question, you did not follow any advice and ask the same question.

I was under the impression that the suspension is like when you miss an appointment and can’t make a new one for 10 days

: If you miss an appointment, it’s a 30 day suspension. If you cancel , its 10 days.

So they suspend for 30 days automatically

you may not be successful at Vientiane as you are seeking a back to back Tourist Visa...and have been living in Thailand prior on retirement extensions.

do you believe Vientiane will grant OP a second Tourist Visa back to back?

: It doesn’t matter where you are from if you are suspended from making an appointment. You’ll have to try another embassy or consulate.

You can also try the Thai Consulate in:

Savannakhet, Laos

Yangon, Myanmar

Penang, Malaysie

Kota Barhu, Malaysie

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysie

Singapore, Singapore

HCMC, Vietnam

Hanoi, Vietnam

And there are many more to find.

If you are suspended for 30 days, you won’t be able to get your tourist visa from that embassy if you are looking for a February 18th appointment.

I don't see any downside in trying to set up an account again, if you can't, they will say you can't.

If you are from a visa exampt country, you can do a border hop for for another 30 day entry (extendable by another 30 days) or extend your current entry if possible

Suspended for 30 days? you can calculate your self.
