Is Ubon Visa a good choice for applying for the DTV visa from the UK?

Hello, has anyone used Ubon Visa for applying for the DTV visa. I want to apply while I’m in the UK. Their reviews on Google look good and my friend recommended them that lives in Bangkok. Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster is considering Ubon Visa for their application for the DTV visa while in the UK, prompted by positive reviews and a friend's recommendation. However, comments suggest that hiring an agent may not be necessary for the DTV visa, as many believe the process can be done independently, especially from the UK, where there are useful resources and a simpler application process. Some express concerns about the cost of using an agent and highlight that approval can be quick.

Did you have to show 500k THB for the last 3 months?

75k seems pretty steep tbh...

I could definitely think of better ways to use & spend that sort of Amount of cash...

Almost or is 6 months rent for a modest Condo or House in many places here in Thailand...

But if monies isn't an issue and your fairly wealthy it's a minor but still doesn't guarantee a successful application...

Good luck..

London is very 'friendly' and easy to DIY...many posts from UK applicants with tips to help you .

Once again, as has been stated every day here - you do NOT NEED AN AGENT for the DTV. It’s actually more complicated and counterproductive…

How much experience do they have applying at the UK Embassy? All they will be doing is a basic document check. How much do they charge for that?

Looks to me they are focused on retirement and marriage or Thais going to UK. I saw zero mention of DTV on their site.

Where they are based their target market is probably 90% Retirement and Spouse visas. Same as some of the well known Pattaya Agents most of whom will not touch DTV.

Anonymous participant i have heard of people using them for visa runs. ED visa but not the DTV but they are reputab;le. 75k THB excluding embassy fee?? you have you own business so it easy to do yourself i think. unless you uncomfortable with paperwork.

It would be 75,000 THB excluding the embassy fee.

I have my own online business so hoping they can check my letter to myself and make the process quicker.

Anonymous participant crazy price. There are better options around. Issa Compass charge 18k and that is money back guarantee. It includes the 10k fee too. Siam Legal was about 400USD if I remember. Do it yourself
