Is there a Sathorn Immigration office that processes visa extensions on Saturdays?
Tod Daniels Anyone know of a Sathorn imi office which apparently does visa extensions on a Saturday?
Answer summary
The Sathorn Immigration Office mentioned in the inquiry no longer processes extensions on weekends, as it has been restricted to specific nationalities. However, Bumrungrad Hospital provides a service for extending tourist visas and visa-exempt entries on Saturdays, charging a 600 baht service fee in addition to the standard visa fee.

IF you're dead set on getting an extension on the weekend, Bumrungrad hospital will do tourist visa and visa exempt entry extensions on Saturday from 8-11 on the 10th floor at the customer service office. There is an immigration officer on site then. They charge a 600baht fee in addition to the 1900baht.

FWIW: IF your current admitted until stamp expires on a day the immigration office is closed (weekendz or holidayz) and you go to the immigration office the next business day you can get your extension without an overstay fee.

That's the OLD Suan Plu Immigration office which STOPPED doing extensions on the weekend about 4 or 5 years ago, and now is ONLY for Burmese, Cambodians & Laotians.
