TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can still do border runs after your 30-day extension in Thailand, but it is important to know that there are no longer specific limits on the number of border entries allowed. However, if you've already used a 60-day visa exempt entry and then extended for 30 days, repeated border runs might raise flags with immigration authorities, who could see it as an intent to stay long-term rather than as a tourist. To avoid potential issues, it's advisable to either obtain the appropriate visa or use a professional border bounce agency.
First border bounce don’t worry, if you decide to do another I’d advise going with a border bounce company that normally means no issues. Most major tourist hubs offer this service .

Since visa exempt was increased from 30 days to 60 days, there is no longer a limit of 2 visa exempt land entries per year. But they are also much more strict about how long you can be in Thailand without a visa as well. Many, MANY reports of people getting pulled aside and questioned after only their first border bounce. You should either get an appropriate visa, or use a border bounce agency to get you out and back in.

Personally I would have used a professional landborder company to do the bounce if it just was about getting another visa exemption. They know the name of the game and will not bring you unless they’re certain about getting you another exemption.

There is no limit on the number of border runs. But if you have already had a 60 day visa exempt entry and a 30 day extention, Immigration will consider any further entry is an indication that you are no longer a tourist and are attempting to stay long term and may deny you entry.
