Just wanted to share my experience. I applied with the House of Taste in Bangkok (signed up for the 12 month course) for the soft power DTV visa. I applied through the Washington DC embassy, and after 5 working days it was approved. So pumped!

If you google free Thai conventional they have free low cost class and things to participate in... that's how I got my DTV.... been hear going on three years
