TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether they can apply for their initial 90-day retirement visa a week early, as their 90-day reporting deadline is February 17 and they may not be in Chiang Mai. A commenter seeks clarification on whether the user is asking about the 90-day reporting requirement, applying for a Non Immigrant O visa, or seeking a one-year extension based on age.

Can you please explain what you like to ask? You need to do a report that you are 90 days inside the country? OR do you want to apply for the Non Immigrant O visa based on being over 50 years of age? OR do you want to apply for the 1 year Extension of Stay based on being over 50 years of age? What do you mean with a week early, a week earlier as what date?

If you mean leave Chiangmai to outside Thailand before that date you don’t need to report... just wondering which you mean, nit in CM but still inside Thailand or out.
