I need some clarification about Thailand's new e-visa for Indians.....
Is visa-on-arrival at the airport still available or do we need to take an e-visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the current visa options available to Indian citizens traveling to Thailand. There are clarifications on the Thailand e-visa system and its benefits. Notably, Indian nationals can still opt for visa on arrival, but it only offers a 15-day stay, which is not cost-effective compared to the visa-exempt entry that grants 60 days with a possible 30-day extension. Overall, advice suggests utilizing the visa exemption for the longest stay.

As an aside to your question, if you buy a e-visa tourist visa to come to Thailand it will give you 60 days, but as an Indian national you can’t extend that.
Don’t pay and come visa exempt and you’ll get 60 days and you can extend that for 30 days at a local immigration office. Go figure the logic.

You will be stamped for 60 days, just turn up with your passport

Indians are eligible for both visa on arrival and visa exempt. It wouldn't make much sense to pay for a visa on arrival though when it only gives 15 days and costs money, and visa exempt gives 60 days and is free.
