TLDR : Answer Summary
The ferry service between Pattaya and Hua Hin has been discontinued and is no longer operational. It shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic and was officially closed afterward. There are mentions of other ferry services operating in the region, but the specific route from Pattaya to Hua Hin is not available.

I reside in HH, there is PLENTY happening now.

Sadly the Ferry is out, and the departure area dismantled, you can understand the reasoning . But, it was very popular and as things change over the long term, eventually , I see it returning in some form.

But right now.. Nope.

even it was always full, it was not, in high season the low season did them in.

Been here in HH 20 plus years, this trip, and rode it often sometimes twice month round-trip

The one in Pattaya shut down quite a long time ago but they opened one that I believe runs from Si Racha (just south of Pattaya) to Yala in South Thailand. I may be mistaken on the exact arrival location in South Thailand but it will definitely get you across the Gulf of Thailand.

Si Racha is well well NORTH of Pattaya, not south. Its almost halfway to Bangkok.

,don't give false information. Sri Racha is only 20 miles from Pattaya. Nowhere near halfway to Bangkok, which is 95 miles from Pattaya. 🙄

my mistake. There's a YouTube vlogger in Pattaya, I believe his channel is called "Rides 4 Kicks." He did a video a couple of months back on the new ferry route. Recommend you check out the details for of location, time and costs of the ferry. Sorry for the bad info.
