TLDR : Answer Summary
The Aranya Prathet/Poi Pet border is indeed confirmed to be closed from March 25 to April 5, 2020, as announced by the Cambodian government. While the border will close for general public access, trucks and goods will still be allowed to cross. Additionally, expats with residency in Cambodia, currently in Thailand, are advised to contact their embassy for assistance with re-entry and visa-related inquiries.

Does anyone know who I would contact if I live in Cambodia (and have proof of residency), but am currently visiting Thailand (British citizen with Thai partner - both live in Cambodia, have had our flights cancelled).

Our home and all our stuff is in Cambodia, we really need to find a way to get back in - no idea which authority to speak to about it.

I don't see how that's a Thai visa question, but I'll entertain it. You would contact the Cambodia embassy in Thailand and request a visa. If you have some type of long-term residency visa in Cambodia, you should be able to re-enter the country easily.

You can find more information out at a Cambodia visa advice group.

Yes, it's easy. Figure out a way to enter the other country, meet the requirements for the Thai visa you want to acquire, and then fly back into Thailand meeting the insurance and health requirements.

I'm not a travel advice service though. You can use this website

For the requirements to enter a country. You can look up the Thai embassy website for the country you're entering for the specific requirements for the visa.

The attached document is the requirements to enter Thailand.

If you meet those requirements, you'll be welcome back to Thailand.

Thailand is only closing borders, where the other side is already closed by the neighbor country.
