Is the 45-day visa-free exemption to Thailand still valid and how many times can a dual citizen enter without a visa?

I have two questions

1. Is the 45 days visa free exemption still valid?

2. In the case of visa exempt stays, I heard you can only do that twice in a calendar year. However, how does that applies when you have dual citizenship in countries (US and VN in my case) where both fall under Thailand visa exempt stays? Does this mean I can enter Thailand 4 times per year not needing a visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 45-day visa-free exemption is still valid for qualifying countries until April 1st. While there is a common belief that visa-exempt entries are limited to twice per calendar year, this primarily applies to entries by land. For individuals with dual citizenship (like US and Vietnam), there is technically no limit on the number of entries by air; however, immigration officers may question frequent entries.

The two limit is entries by land.

There’s no limit on visa exempt entries but Immigration could ask questions if they think you are taking the piss.

With vietnam passport you can enter as often as you want even by land

ASEAN passports are an exception, yes.

Visa exempt is 45 days for countries that qualify until April 1st. You’re thinking of land border entries if it’s twice per calendar year. There is no technical limit by entries by air - until an officer pulls you aside and questions you.
